You will join Crayon (a SoftwareOne company's) Partner & Sales organisation in Australia, working closely with internal sales, delivery, and leadership teams to build trusted partner relationships and accelerate joint business growth. As a Partner Account Manager looking after the Western Australia region, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partner relationships, driving & ensuring their success. Your role will focus on driving value‑based engagement, joint planning, and successful execution of sales and delivery initiatives to support long‑term partner success. Key responsibilities: - Be the primary contact for Partners across Crayon and SoftwareOne. - Maintain a strong understanding of Crayon and SoftwareOne's service offerings, solutions and delivery capabilities. - Collaborate with product and services teams to support partner success. - Develop partner plans, engaging at the appropriate level within partner organisations - Understand partners' business strategies and challenges, aligning initiatives to drive joint growth. - Own and manage the sales and service delivery process for assigned partners. - Stay informed on market trends, competitors and industry developments, proactively sharing insights and opportunities with stakeholders. What we need to see from you - 3+ years experience in account management, managing channel partners in a sales capacity, preferably in the IT industry. - Good knowledge of IT infrastructure and hosting environments, with a solid understanding of hybrid, public and private cloud solutions. - Knowledge of software licensing and cloud subscriptions, with Microsoft experience an advantage. - Strong understanding of customers' business requirements and licensing needs across multiple vendors. - Relationship driven and customer-centric, with the ability to build relationships, networks and trust with IT executives. - Thrives in a value-based sales environment and can work strategically over the long term by developing broad and effective stakeholder relationships.
