The role System Center Administrador /IT Infrastructure Management Specialist On-site |Quito Are you passionate about managing and optimizing technology platforms while ensuring the stability of infrastructure services? Do you enjoy working in dynamic environments where monitoring, automation, and troubleshooting are key to maintaining operational continuity? Join our Technology team and help ensure the availability, stability, and security of our Microsoft infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for administering and optimizing platforms such as Microsoft System Center, SCOM, and MECM/SCCM, managing monitoring activities, software deployments, updates, inventory management, and automation. You will work closely with Infrastructure, Security, Support, and technology vendor teams to resolve incidents, implement improvements, and ensure the continuity and efficiency of technology services. Responsibilities - Manage and maintain Microsoft System Center platforms, including SCOM and MECM/SCCM, ensuring their availability, stability, and proper operation. - Monitor servers, applications, services, and critical infrastructure components, configuring alerts, rules, dashboards, and reports. - Administer software and application deployments, updates, patch management, and hardware and software inventory across workstations and servers. - Diagnose incidents and issues related to the infrastructure and managed platforms, performing root cause analysis and coordinating resolution with internal teams and technology providers. - Implement automation and operational improvements using PowerShell and Microsoft tools, while participating in technology upgrades, migrations, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. What we need to see from you - Have a degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Technology, or a related field. - Have strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, particularly System Center, SCOM, SCCM/MECM, Intune, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP. - Have hands-on experience in infrastructure administration, server monitoring, endpoint management, software deployment, and patch and update management. - Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including incident diagnosis, root cause analysis, change management, and the ability to work autonomously. - Have knowledge of automation and continuous improvement, ideally using PowerShell, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Infrastructure, Security, Support teams, and technology providers.
