Automation & AI Project Manager (f/m/div.)

About the Role

Manage Automation & AI use cases end-to-end, from initial idea and requirements definition through assessment, prioritization, development, testing, implementation and rollout.Plan and coordinate projects, including scope, milestones, dependencies, resources, risks and stakeholder alignment, ensuring transparent progress and timely delivery.Work closely with HR business stakeholders to understand processes, pain points and requirements and translate them into clear automation and AI use cases.Coordinate business and technical stakeholders, including Business Analysts, Developers, HR IT teams, external partners and solution/platform teams throughout the project lifecycle.Assess automation and AI opportunities considering business value, feasibility, implementation effort, technical dependencies and scalability.Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements and ensure alignment between business expectations and the solution delivered.Facilitate workshops and working sessions to analyze processes, clarify requirements, resolve open topics and define implementation approaches.Develop a solid understanding of the HR IT landscape, systems, interfaces and dependencies relevant to each use case and ensure alignment with existing architecture and standards.Support solution design and technical discussions, including automation platforms, APIs, system integrations and AI-based solutions, working closely with technical experts.Coordinate proof-of-concepts, pilots, testing and implementation activities and support the transition of successful solutions into productive operation.Proactively manage project risks, dependencies, issues and escalations and drive decisions with the relevant stakeholders.Monitor implemented solutions and their expected business impact and identify opportunities for further optimization or scaling.EducationUniversity degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field.ExperienceSeveral years of professional experience in Automation, AI, Software Development, Solution Design, or Business Process Optimization.Proven experience in leading automation and/or AI projects from concept through implementation.Experience in leading, mentoring, and developing technical teams.Experience working with international stakeholders and cross-functional teams.Know-howStrong experience in business process analysis, process design, and solution development.Hands-on experience with automation platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or comparable technologies.Good knowledge of AI concepts, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and their application to business processes.Good knowledge of Python and experience with APIs, integrations, or related technologies.Experience with solution design and translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Understanding of AI-related risks, data privacy, security, and responsible AI practices.Knowledge of HR processes and/or HR IT environments is an advantage.LanguagesFluent English, written and spoken (C1 level).German is an advantage.Working Style and MethodsStructured and analytical approach with a strong focus on practical and scalable solutions.Ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements and actionable solutions.Experienced in working collaboratively across business and technical teams.Proactive approach to identifying automation opportunities and driving continuous improvement.Comfortable working in an international environment and managing multiple priorities.Able to balance innovation with feasibility, scalability, cost, security, and risk.PersonalityTakes ownership and drives topics independently.Strong communicator who can build trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Collaborative team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and developing others.Curious and open-minded towards new technologies and ways of working.Pragmatic and solution-oriented, with the ability to stay focused in complex situations.Confident in challenging existing processes and bringing forward new ideas.Work #LikeABosch means:⚖️ Flexible work conditions🔀 Hybrid work system🌐 Exchange with colleagues around the world🧑‍⚕️ Health insurance and medical office on site📚 Training opportunities📈 Opportunities for career progression and continuous professional development💲 Access to great discounts in partnerships and Bosch products🏋️ Sports and health related activities🚉 Great access to public transports🅿️ Free parking lot🍽️ Canteen Success stories don´t just happen.
