We are looking for a Cloud Consultant to design, deliver, and optimize cloud solutions that help customers modernize infrastructure, improve operational efficiency, and achieve their long-term technology goals. Cloud transformation, migration, modernization, and architecture services are core capabilities across SoftwareOne's cloud practice. As a Cloud Consultant, you will work closely with customers, architects, and delivery teams to design and implement Azure and AWS solutions across hybrid and cloud environments. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will help customers adopt cloud technologies, modernize infrastructure, and build scalable solutions aligned with business objectives and industry best practices. Key responsibilities: - Designing and delivering Azure and AWS cloud solutions that support business transformation, modernization, and operational excellence. - Leading customer workshops, assessments, and discovery activities to understand business and technical requirements and define cloud roadmaps. - Supporting migration and modernization initiatives across infrastructure, applications, and hybrid environments. - Advising customers on cloud architecture, governance, security, resiliency, backup, and disaster recovery best practices. - Collaborating with internal delivery, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure successful project outcomes and high-quality service delivery. - Contributing to innovation, automation, reusable assets, process improvements, and knowledge sharing across the cloud practice. What we need to see from you - Strong experience working with Azure, AWS, or other public cloud platforms across architecture, implementation, or operations roles. - Knowledge of cloud infrastructure services including compute, networking, storage, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions. - Experience supporting cloud migration, hybrid cloud, modernization, or infrastructure transformation projects. - Understanding of core infrastructure technologies including Active Directory, Windows Server, networking, virtualization, and cloud governance concepts. - Strong problem-solving, consulting, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage technical and business audiences. - Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to delivering customer-focused solutions.
