Design Engineer for PS-CC/EDT-IN

About the Role

Purpose of this position is to execute BU specific product design for customers according to set standards- Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical) *- Masters in engineering (desirable)2+ years experience in product design/simulationBasic knowledge on product design, design calculations & simulation. Good proficiency with CAD software (preferably UG-NX), GD&TProduct Design: Provide cost effective design solutions for customer requirement based on set guidelines (both during Acquisition stage and product development stage). Participate customer discussions during alignment meetings. Document experience gained during design tenure.CFT support: Provide necessary design support/solutions during DFMA, DFMEA, localization, series topics, benchmarking, fixtures designs Nature of work calls for the candidate to be flexible and agile, with high customer/project orientation. Candidate should be able to work in teams to achieve the results.
