DevOps Architect
About the Role
As a DevOps Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and evolving modern cloud-native platforms and automation frameworks. You will define technical architectures, infrastructure standards and best practices to ensure secure, scalable and highly available environments.Working closely with technical and business stakeholders, you will lead transformation initiatives, support platform modernisation and drive DevOps adoption across complex IT ecosystems.Your ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain enterprise-grade cloud and platform architecturesDefine infrastructure, automation and deployment strategies using DevOps best practicesLead containerisation and orchestration initiatives based on Kubernetes platformsEstablish Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD standardsDesign secure integration patterns, identity management and access control mechanismsEnsure platform scalability, reliability, observability and disaster recovery capabilitiesProvide technical leadership and architectural guidance to engineering teamsCollaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutionsPromote continuous improvement, innovation and operational excellenceContribute to technology governance, security and compliance initiativesDegree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related fieldProven experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or Solution Architecture roles (+7 years)Strong expertise in Kubernetes, container technologies and cloud-native architecturesExperience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and AnsibleGood knowledge of CI/CD, GitOps and automation practicesExperience with identity and access management, APIs and system integrationsStrong understanding of Linux environments, networking and infrastructure operationsExcellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within international teamsFluent in English; additional languages are considered an assetWhat We OfferA permanent contract (local presence) or B2B (full remote possibility) with a leading European technology companyExciting and impactful projects for major clientsContinuous learning, training and certification opportunitiesCareer growth within Sopra Steria Luxembourg and the international GroupA collaborative, inclusive and people-focused work environment______Sopra Steria is an equal opportunity employer.
