About the Role

We are seeking an Embodied AI Engineer to enable the successful deployment of humanoid robots in industrial environments. Rather than developing the robot's core locomotion or control algorithms, this role focuses on adapting, configuring, and optimizing commercially available humanoid robot platforms for customer-specific applications with core competences in Embodied AI.You will work at the intersection of robotics, AI, perception, and industrial automation, transforming generic robot capabilities into reliable, production-ready workflows through algorithm tuning, application development, and system integration.Key ResponsibilitiesApplication DevelopmentDevelop robotic applications for industrial PoC and pilot projects.Configure humanoid robot behaviors for customer-specific workflows.Design and optimize task execution pipelines for material handling, inspection, logistics, assembly, and other industrial use cases.Integrate robot capabilities with customer production systems and external equipment.Algorithm Adaptation & OptimizationFine-tune perception, manipulation, and task-planning algorithms to improve application performance.Optimize object detection, pose estimation, grasp planning, navigation parameters, and task sequencing.Configure AI models, perception pipelines, and robot behavior parameters to meet customer requirements.Improve system robustness, repeatability, and task success rates through iterative testing and validation.AI & Robotics IntegrationIntegrate robot SDKs, ROS2 packages, vision systems, and AI frameworks.Develop interfaces between humanoid robots, AI services, MES/WMS systems, and industrial automation equipment.Support deployment of multimodal AI, LLM-based task planning, and intelligent robot workflows where applicable.Validation & DeploymentConduct factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and customer trials.Analyze field data and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Collaborate with robot platform vendors to resolve software and integration issues.Support onsite commissioning and technical troubleshooting. Required QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in robotics software, AI applications, or robot deployment.Experience with ROS or ROS2.Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++.Understanding of robot perception, manipulation, and task planning.Familiarity with computer vision, machine learning, or AI model deployment.Strong analytical and debugging skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience deploying humanoid, mobile, or collaborative robots.Experience with perception frameworks such as OpenCV, YOLO, or other deep learning-based vision systems.Familiarity with robot SDKs and motion planning frameworks (e.g., MoveIt).Experience integrating AI models, LLMs, or vision-language models into robotic applications.Experience working in manufacturing or industrial automation environments.Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, or EtherCAT.Core CompetenciesRobotics Application DevelopmentEmbodied AI DeploymentPerception & Manipulation OptimizationRobot Behavior ConfigurationAI Workflow IntegrationIndustrial Solution DeliveryCustomer-Centric Problem Solving
