About the Role

Your contribution to something big: As an EMS Calculation and Cost Analysis Expert, you will play a key role in ensuring sound commercial decision-making across acquisition and customer projects. You will combine cost and profitability analysis with cross-functional collaboration, while contributing to the continuous improvement of our quotation controlling processes and tools.You contribute to the continuous improvement and further development of our quotation controlling processes.You assess acquisition and customer projects from a commercial perspective, analyzing profitability through key financial indicators such as EBIT, NPV, and PBP and providing a reliable basis for business decisions.You evaluate acquisition projects regarding their strategic impact on our product portfolio and support the further development of our product lines.Throughout the customer project phase, you analyze deviations, define corrective measures, and proactively follow up on their implementation together with the relevant plants and business units.As a commercial expert, you advise Product Management, Sales, plants, and the acquisition release panel, translating complex financial information into clear recommendations for action.You act as a central point of contact for cost calculations and cost-related inquiries, coordinating closely with Sales, R&D, Purchasing, Production, and Plant Controlling to ensure transparent and aligned cost calculations.What distinguishes you:Education: Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Finance, Controlling, or a comparable field, ideally with a focus on Finance or Controlling.Experience: Several years of relevant professional experience in Controlling, for example in customer project controlling, quotation controlling, cost controlling, or plant controlling, ideally within an industrial environment.Know-how: Strong understanding of cost and profitability analysis, including EBIT, NPV, and PBP. Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, as well as Power BI. Experience with CRM systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 or comparable solutions, is an advantage.Languages: Very good written and spoken English.Working Style and Methods: You work in a structured and analytical way and are comfortable assessing complex commercial topics. You are able to translate your analysis into clear, practical recommendations while keeping the broader business context in mind. You remain effective when working under pressure and demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and business needs.Personality: You communicate complex topics clearly and confidently and enjoy collaborating with different stakeholders and functions in an international environment.
