About the Role

We're looking for a dedicated and analytical Quality Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Celaya, Mexico. In this role, you will be the driving force behind ensuring product and process quality excellence across our production lines. You'll leverage advanced quality tools and methodologies to prevent defects, reduce variation, and consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by leading continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of quality throughout our manufacturing operations.Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications on production lines by implementing and monitoring key quality tools including PFMEA, Plan of Control, and PDCA methodologiesLead problem-solving activities and root cause analysis to identify and eliminate defects, driving preventive and corrective actionsManage and track customer complaints related to manufacturing, taking full ownership of resolution and implementing systemic improvementsMonitor and report on critical quality metrics including IDC (In-Process Defect Count) and FOR (First-Pass Yield Rate) to drive data-informed decision-makingParticipate in line releases and support new product launches, assuming full responsibility for adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) post-launchVerify product compliance with design specifications and ensure manufacturability is optimized throughout the production processUtilize quality assessment tools such as maturity assessments and quality gates to evaluate and enhance manufacturing processesCollaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to implement sustainable quality improvementsMaintain detailed documentation and records in SAP and other quality management systems to ensure traceability and regulatory complianceChampion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, inspiring team members to identify and pursue quality enhancement opportunitiesBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering disciplineProven experience (3+ years) in quality engineering or manufacturing quality roles within a production environmentAdvanced proficiency with quality management systems and SAP softwareStrong expertise in quality tools and methodologies including PFMEA, Plan of Control, PDCA, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and problem-solving techniquesDemonstrated ability to conduct failure analysis and root cause analysis using structured methodologiesExperience managing customer complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction in a manufacturing contextSolid understanding of design compliance requirements and manufacturability principlesExcellent analytical and data interpretation skills with the ability to translate metrics into actionable insightsStrong problem-solving mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovationExceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levelsBilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (preferred for Celaya location)Proven leadership capability and ability to influence cross-functional teamsDetail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyFlexibility and resilience in adapting to changing manufacturing environments and process improvementsBosch amplía constantemente su presencia internacional, ya que para nosotros la diversidad cultural representa una de nuestras mayores fuerzas.
