About the Role

During your internship, you will integrate digital production solutions - such as ticketing systems, (Andon) dashboards, or knowledge and experience management systems - directly into our manufacturing environment.Furthermore, you will independently implement proof-of-concepts, with a particular focus on connecting various applications - for example, linking event notifications to knowledge delivery.In Addition, you will continuously configure and expand integration and automation solutions, including Node-RED, interfaces, and data flows.Lastly, you will precisely document use cases, data flows, and technical concepts, while also providing active support during rollouts as well as testing.Education: studies in the field of Engineering, e.g. Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or comparable Experience and Knowledge: basic understanding of IT systems, web applications and data flows; First experience with programming or scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript) is an advantage; Interest in digital production or logistics processesPersonality and Working Practice: you work independently and systematically, with a keen interest in analyzing and understanding complex systems and their interdependencies; You find it easy to get up to speed with new technologies - such as automation, system integration, or low-code platforms -and possess foundational knowledge of APIs, databases, or Linux environments; You communicate clearly and persuasively, integrate well into international teams, and consistently demonstrate personal initiative and a sense of responsibilityWork Routine: with us, you benefit from a hybrid model that enables you to work both in the office and remotelyEnthusiasm: for digitalization, automation and networked production systems; Interest in practical IT solutions with a direct connection to the shopfloorLanguages: fluent in EnglishStart: according to prior agreement Duration: 6 monthsWe offer you:35 hours/week with flextimea permanent contact person who will accompany you during your internshipa modern working environment, as well as mobile working by arrangementthe opportunity to become part of our student network students@bosch Stuttgartdiscounts in our company restaurantsRequirement for this internship is the enrollment at university.
