About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Lead - Facilities to join our organization in Goa, India. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of facility operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment. You will lead a team of facility professionals and contractors while managing budgets, implementing strategic initiatives, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, decisive leadership, and a commitment to operational excellence.Oversee daily facility operations, maintenance activities, and general upkeep of all company properties and infrastructureLead, mentor, and manage facility staff and external contractors, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvementDevelop, implement, and enforce facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols to ensure compliance with local and national regulationsManage facility budgets, analyze expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety standardsPlan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset lifeEstablish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, service providers, and contractors to ensure quality service deliveryConduct regular facility inspections and assessments to identify potential risks, inefficiencies, or areas requiring improvementDevelop and execute facility improvement projects, including upgrades, renovations, and infrastructure enhancementsMonitor and analyze facility performance metrics, including energy consumption, maintenance costs, and operational efficiencyPrepare comprehensive reports on facility status, maintenance activities, and budget performance for senior managementLead emergency response protocols and ensure business continuity during critical situationsStay current with industry best practices and emerging facility management trendsMinimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in facility management or related operations leadership roleProven expertise in managing multi-building or large-scale facility operationsStrong knowledge of facility maintenance systems, building infrastructure, and mechanical/electrical systemsDemonstrated proficiency in budget management, financial planning, and cost controlExperience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or similar facility management softwareSolid understanding of safety regulations, compliance standards, and occupational health requirementsExcellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staffStrong project management capabilities with experience overseeing facility improvement initiativesProficiency in vendor management and contract negotiationExceptional organizational and time management skillsAdvanced problem-solving and analytical abilitiesOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbalFamiliarity with energy management and sustainability practices (preferred)Experience in managing facilities in tropical or challenging climate conditions (preferred)Knowledge of emergency preparedness and business continuity planning (preferred)NAVisit our tech blogs to learn more about some the challenges we deal with: https://medium.com/swiggy-bytesWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by the law.
