What you'll do As a Partner Solutions Architect, you will build trusted relationships with C-level executives and technical decision-makers across partner organizations and their customers. You will provide business and technical thought leadership, serve as a trusted advisor, and help solve mission-critical business challenges. You will also help partners design business models that create new monetization opportunities and drive growth. Who you are We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements for the role. If you meet these requirements, we encourage you to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement. Minimum requirements 10+ years of experience in solutions architecture, sales engineering, technical consulting, or a comparable customer-facing technical role within a global software company. 5+ years of experience working within partner ecosystems, including SIs, GSIs, or independent software vendors (ISVs). Demonstrated executive engagement skills and presence, with the ability to establish strong relationships with key decision-makers and build credibility at all levels. Strong group-facilitation skills and confidence in proposing and leading customer and partner meetings to establish strategic alignment and pursue opportunities. A thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns. Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. The ability to learn and advise on Stripe products, including Payments, Billing, Connect, and others. An understanding of how ERP, CRM, billing, tax, and legacy systems interact within enterprise technology environments. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple strategic partners, customers, and opportunities. Preferred Qualifications Experience as a customer-facing domain expert in payments, including presenting and architecting solutions for enterprise customers. Experience integrating Stripe or other RESTful APIs into web applications. Experience with system design and building and deploying complex applications. Experience supporting global enterprise technical sales at a leading enterprise software company. Experience helping customers adopt and expand their use of cloud-based software. A passion for learning and actively seeking new knowledge. The ability to work independently and confidently develop a path forward with customers under ambiguous circumstances. Strategic and creative thinking, with the ability to identify challenges proactively and maintain a constructive approach when facing difficult obstacles. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to support Stripe’s users. Hybrid work at Stripe This role is available either in an office or a remote location (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office). In-office expectations Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams. Working remotely at Stripe A remote location is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently live or plan to live.
