About the Role

Responsibilities related to data science and machine learning in a manufacturing context. Key tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams to create impactful data solutions, analyzing large datasets to enhance business metrics, designing and implementing machine learning models, developing scalable computer vision solutions, and maintaining web applications for data initiatives. Additionally, it involves interpreting data insights, communicating findings to stakeholders, and delivering presentations with visualized data and business conclusionsESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-impact data science solutions that improve productivity and operations metricsAnalyze large-scale data and develop machine learning/AI models to drive business value and improve KPIsDesign, prototype, and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve specific Manufacturing problemsResearching and developing scalable computer vision and machine learning solutions for complex problemsCreate and maintain web applications to support data science initiatives and facilitate data-driven decision makingInterpret actionable insights from data and metadata sources, communicating findings to stakeholders for product improvementPrepare and deliver presentations with data visualizations and business conclusionsREQUIRED:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or equivalent experienceAt least 1 year of experience in Data Science.PREFERRED:Prior project or internship experience in Python, Computer Vision, ML model development, or GenAIProgramming skills in Python with data handling experience (pandas, APIs, scripting)Foundational understanding of AI/ML, Computer Vision, and image processing techniquesKnowledge of mathematical modeling, optimization, or simulation techniques for operational problem-solvingFamiliarity with SQL, databases, and data visualization through coursework or projectsExposure to cloud platforms, Docker, Git, or basic DevOps conceptsFoundational understanding of web developmentStrong problem-solving skills, learning agility, and ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teamsWorking proficiency in English with confidence collaborating with international teamsSKILLS: Computer Vision expertise – hands-on experience with CV libraries and models (OpenCV, YOLO, etc.)Machine Learning – solid understanding of ML algorithms and model developmentPython proficiency – demonstrated ability to write production-quality Python code#LI-SW1WD thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
