At SoftwareOne, finance is a strategic partner to the business, helping drive growth, compliance, and operational excellence. We are looking for a Finance Manager to oversee financial reporting, compliance, audits, budgeting, and finance operations while supporting business leaders with actionable financial insights and continuous process improvement. Core finance roles within SoftwareOne include financial reporting, accounting, audit support, financial controls, business partnering, and process optimization. As a Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial operations while acting as a trusted advisor to business and finance stakeholders. You will lead financial reporting, compliance, audits, budgeting, and process improvement initiatives while supporting organizational growth and governance requirements. You will be responsible for: - Leading month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with IFRS, statutory requirements, and company policies. - Preparing and reviewing financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, management reports, journal entries, forecasts, and budgets. - Managing audit activities and acting as the primary liaison for external auditors, finance partners, and regulatory stakeholders. - Supporting payroll compliance, statutory reporting, tax-related activities, and internal control requirements. - Driving finance process improvements, automation initiatives, and ERP optimization projects to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy. - Partnering with business leaders and regional finance teams to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and contribute to strategic projects. What we need to see from you - Professional accounting qualification such as CPA or equivalent, with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. - Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting operations, reconciliations, compliance, and audit management. Financial reporting, controls, and compliance are core responsibilities across SoftwareOne finance roles. - Experience overseeing financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. - Strong understanding of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements. IFRS compliance and financial statement integrity are key responsibilities within SoftwareOne finance processes. - Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and external partners. - Experience working with ERP systems and driving process improvement, automation, or finance transformation initiatives.
