Practical Information Location: Sofia, Bulgaria | Work Arrangement: Hybrid | Visa Requirements: Valid working visa for Bulgaria | Language Requirements: Strong spoken and written English We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to strengthen how cloud infrastructure is built, operated, and modernised. In this role, you will support Shared Platform Integration Managed Infrastructure and partner with Engineering teams to develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code in a consistent and safe way. You will coach others through real work, helping a small team shift toward modern DevOps practices, focusing on improving reliability, repeatability, and speed of change across Azure- and AWS-based environments through automation and clear operational approaches. Key Responsibilities - Build and maintain Terraform modules and environments for Azure and AWS - Improve Git-based workflows for infrastructure delivery aligned with GitOps practices - Create and maintain Ansible automation to reduce manual operational work - Design and operate secrets management patterns using HashiCorp Vault - Modernise Azure and AWS environments toward automated and secure infrastructure patterns - Work on core infrastructure including virtual machines, networking, connectivity, and Kubernetes - Coach, review, and guide teams toward DevOps practices such as code review, automation, and predictable release flow What we need to see from you - Strong experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering , or similar roles in cloud environments - Proven delivery of I nfrastructure as Code in production with multi-environment lifecycle management - Solid operational background with end-to-end debugging and ability to stay calm under pressure - Experience with Terraform , including module design, state management, and safe upgrade practices - Experience with HashiCorp Vault, Ansible, GitOps practices, and Kubernetes platforms - Strong Azure skills across compute, networking, identity, and platform services with working knowledge of AWS - Clear communication, documentation skills, and ability to challenge ways of working while maintaining strong relationships Job Function Services Accommodations SoftwareOne welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and abilities to apply.
