Senior Manager - Demand Planning

About the Role

Roles & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using trend analysis, statistical models and other forecasting techniquesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to obtain relevant intelligence to improve forecasts.Monitor actual sales performance against forecast and make necessary adjustments to forecast as needed.Work with the larger Supply Chain team to ensure that inventory levels are appropriate to meet demand forecasts, while minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.Create dashboards to track performance and quality checks.Continuously improve demand forecasting processes and RCAs by implementing process improvements and automations.Analyze data to understand root cause for stock outs and own actions to remedy identified issues.Desired Skillset:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large data sets and identify trends and patterns.Proficiency in Excel and SQL is a must.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.Experience in e-commerce or retail industry is a plus "We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regards to race, color, religion, sex, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by the law"Visit our tech blogs to learn more about some the challenges we deal with: https://medium.com/swiggy-bytesWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by the law.
