About the Role

What qualities are we looking for?Expert in React Native, and TypeScript, with strong modern JavaScript fundamentals.Experience with Nx (monorepo tooling) and Webpack (build tooling).Strong knowledge of CSS, Tailwind CSS, responsive design, and build tools.Experience with state management, API integration, Node.js, Git, and CI/CD.Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-native deployment.Understanding of frontend architecture, design systems, and scalable applications.Expertise in performance optimization, monitoring, observability tools, and caching strategies.Proficiency in testing using Jest, Playwright, and Maestro (mobile E2E), accessibility, and code quality best practices.Familiarity with Storybook is a plus.Experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management systems is a plus.Design and develop scalable, high-performance React Native (mobile) applications for Instamart Driver appOwn services end-to-end — from design and development to observability, incident response, RCA, and production reliability.Build reusable components and maintain design systems across web and mobile.Optimize performance, accessibility, and application reliability across the fleet of services.Maintain HLD/LLD, runbooks, and operational documentation for owned modules.Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote best practices.Partner with warehouse operations, product, design, backend, and DevOps teams to understand supply chain workflows and translate them into reliable applications.Drive proactive improvements in owned domains — not just review incoming changes, but identify and solve operational problems.Support on-call and incident response for owned services, including RCA and mitigation.What will you get to do here?Work with modern frontend technologies like React Native (mobile) and Native (android)High ownership and autonomy over a portfolio of services — with clear code ownership and accountability.Opportunities for technical leadership, mentorship, and career growth.Competitive compensation and benefits.
