Sr. Program Scheduler
About the Role
Saronic Technologies is a leader in revolutionizing autonomy at sea, dedicated to developing state-of-the-art solutions that enhance maritime operations through autonomous and intelligent platforms. About the Role Field Quality Services supports our deployed fleet — from customer vessel support and retrofits to fleet inspections, corrective actions, NOEs, Service Bulletins, and IRB/RCCA investigations. Field issues rarely belong to a single organization: closing one can require Quality inspection, Engineering analysis, parts availability, vessel access, Mission Operations support, customer coordination, repair, and final verification. As the Senior Program Scheduler, you will be the coordination layer that connects all of it. You will own the plan, schedule, dependencies, and follow-through for Field Quality activities so that findings and corrective actions move from identification to verified closure: Field Issue → Prioritize → Plan → Assign → Schedule → Execute → Verify → Close Technical owners decide what needs to happen. You make sure everyone knows when it happens, who owns it, what it depends on, and whether it is on track. This is a new role on a Field Quality organization that is still being built. You will help define the operating rhythm, tools, and management systems the team scales on. What You'll Do - Planning and scheduling - Build and maintain the Field Quality master schedule. - Coordinate vessel availability for inspections, repairs, retrofits, and follow-up verification. - Plan for customer vessel returns, recommissioning, retrofit events, deployments, and major fleet activities. - Coordinate inspection and Quality support requirements for upcoming field activities. Senior Program Scheduler – Field Quality Services - Spot schedule conflicts, resource constraints, and dependencies before they become blockers. Tracking and follow-through - Track Field Quality projects, milestones, deliverables, owners, and due dates. - Track NOEs, Service Bulletins, fleet actions, inspections, and corrective actions through closure. - Track IRB and RCCA actions so owners and commitments stay visible. - Maintain action registers and make sure cross-functional commitments are followed through. - Escalate schedule risks and overdue actions to the right leaders. Cross-functional coordination - Coordinate schedules across Quality, Mission Operations, Design and Manufacturing Engineering, Programs, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain, Warranty/Customer Support, and field and retrofit teams. - Serve as the central coordination point for Field Quality execution, while technical ownership stays with the right Quality or Engineering lead. Reporting and operating rhythm - Produce weekly program status and schedule reports for Field Quality leadership. - Keep high-priority field issues and their status visible. - Support resource planning and forecasting as Field Quality workload grows. - Help establish repeatable workflows, meeting cadences, and management systems for the organization. How You'll Work With the Team - Field Quality Manager — owns strategy, priorities, customer quality, escalation, resources, and overall performance. - Senior Quality Engineer — owns technical investigations, IRB, RCCA, commonality/risk assessments, corrective actions, and technical closure. - Senior Program Scheduler (this role) — owns program planning, schedules, dependencies, action tracking, resource coordination, execution visibility, and cross- functional follow-through. - Field Quality Engineers / Inspectors — execute investigations, inspections, containment, verification, evidence collection, and field quality activities. What You'll Bring Required - Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, operations management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - 6+ years of program scheduling, project control, or program coordination experience in aerospace, defense, maritime, automotive, or similar hardware/manufacturing environments. - Hands-on experience building and maintaining integrated master schedules, including dependency and critical-path management. - Proficiency with scheduling and tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, Jira/Linear) and Excel or Google Sheets. - Proven ability to drive cross-functional commitments to closure without direct authority. - Clear, concise written and verbal communication, including status reporting to leadership. - Ability to manage many concurrent activities with shifting priorities. Preferred - Experience supporting field service, fleet sustainment, MRO, warranty, or retrofit programs. - Familiarity with quality processes such as RCCA/8D, nonconformance and corrective action systems, MRB/IRB, and service bulletins. - Experience with vessel, vehicle, or aircraft maintenance and availability planning. - Experience standing up processes, dashboards, or operating cadences in a growing organization. - PMP, PMI-SP, or similar certification. Success in This Role Looks Like - A single, trusted master schedule for Field Quality that leadership relies on. - Senior Program Scheduler – Field Quality Services - Inspection and verification opportunities captured when vessels are available — not missed. - IRB/RCCA actions, NOEs, and Service Bulletins closed on time, with aging actions visible and escalated early. - Field Quality engineers and leadership spending their time on technical and customer decisions, not chasing schedules. - A repeatable weekly operating rhythm the team can scale as the deployed fleet grows. Additional Requirements - U.S. person / ITAR eligibility requirement, if applicable - Travel up to 10% to field sites and customer locations - Ability to support off-hours or weekend activities during vessel availability windows, if applicable PHYSICAL DEMANDS - Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer - Occasional standing and walking within the office - Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment - Visual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports - Occasional reaching, bending, or stooping to access file drawers, cabinets, or office supplies - Lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, packages) BENEFITS Medical Insurance: Comprehensive health insurance plans covering a range of services Saronic pays 100% of the premium for employees and 80% for dependents Dental and Vision Insurance: Coverage for routine dental check-ups, orthodontics, and vision care Saronic pays 100% of the premium under the basic plan for employees and 80% for dependents Time Off: Generous PTO and Holidays Parental Leave: Paid maternity and paternity leave to support new parents Competitive Salary: Industry-standard salaries with opportunities for performance-based bonuses Retirement Plan: 401(k) plan with company match Stock Options: Equity options to give employees a stake in the company’s success Life and Disability Insurance: Basic life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage Pet Insurance: Discounted pet insurance options including 24/7 Telehealth helpline Additional Perks: Free lunch benefit and unlimited free drinks and snacks in the office Saronic CCPA Notice for Candidates and California Employees https://saronic-assets-public.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/Saronic%20CCPA%20Notice%20for%20Candidates%20and%20California%20Employees.pdf If this role is based in the United States, it requires access to export-controlled information or items that require “U.S. Person” status.
