About the Role
Take the role of a Component & System Test Engineer and the required competences for operating Test Automation projects.TasksAnalyze specified requirementsDesign and implementation of test casesExecution of tests, retests and regression testsEvaluation of resultsDocumentation and archiving of work productsCreation of bug ticketsRightsApproval of component & system requirements specificationsReview test designs & implementationsVeto regarding local deviations from company standards regarding architectureIdentification and application of suitable tools for the development of SW test architecturePrototypical implementation of innovation ideas, especially in terms of testingResponsibilitiesFinding errors in the device under test (as many errors as possible with as little effort as necessary)Ensuring the re-usability, applicability, availability, reproducibility and quality of the work resultsEnsuring the information distribution of detected errors, their correction and lessons learned in the global environmentGraduated in Computer science/ Electrical engineering/ Embedded electronics development/More than 2 years of experience in embedded software testing, ideally in automotive or industrial domainsGood knowledge of test methodologies, test levels, and defect management processesExperience with embedded systems, hardware–software integration, and test environmentsExperience with Python/C++Familiarity with test management tools, defect tracking systems, and CI/CD pipelinesAbility to work independently and take ownership of quality outcomesProfessional proficiency in English – spoken and written. This position will be contracted through Bosch’s external vendor under a 1-year contract. Salary and benefits will be discussed during interview
